To ensure smooth arrangements for the Basant festival, the Lahore Electric Supply Company has finalized measures to maintain an uninterrupted power supply and protect its electricity network throughout the celebrations.
LESCO Chief Muhammad Ramzan Butt has instructed officials to guarantee continuous electricity during all three days of Basant.
While speaking to City 42, he said that all necessary preparations have been completed and appealed to the public to avoid using metallic kite strings, stressing that this is essential for preventing accidents and safeguarding lives.
He also shared that he plans to personally take part in Basant celebrations in Lahore’s inner-city areas, joining citizens in marking the occasion.
