Gold price in Pakistan drops Rs8,600 per tola over 4-day slide

The price of 24 karat gold dropped by Rs100 on Monday, selling at Rs356,300 compared to Rs356,400 the day before, as shared by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

Over the last three trading days of the previous week, gold prices saw a sharp fall of Rs8,500 per tola. With Monday’s slight decrease, the total decline over the past four days has reached Rs8,600 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold fell by Rs85 to Rs305,470, while 10 grams of 22 karat gold dropped to Rs280,014.

Meanwhile, silver rates stayed the same, with per tola closing at Rs3,963 and 10 grams at Rs3,397.

In the global market, the price of gold edged down by $1 to $3,336, and silver remained steady at $38.14.
