The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has launched a redesigned version of its official website, introducing a fresh interface, easier navigation, and improved access to the central bank’s digital services and financial information.

In a statement, the SBP said the new website has been built to offer a smoother user experience with faster navigation, quick access to important information, and improved search features that help visitors find services and resources more easily.

The launch marks the biggest update to the SBP’s online platform in decades. The previous website, which had served as the central bank’s primary digital platform since the early 2000s, has now been replaced with a modern portal featuring a cleaner design, better functionality, and a more user-friendly layout.

The SBP’s official domain, sbp.org.pk, was first registered on August 25, 1997, making it one of Pakistan’s oldest government financial websites.

The updated website is expected to benefit commercial banks, businesses, investors, researchers, students, journalists, and the general public.

Users can now access monetary policy announcements, exchange rate information, banking regulations, statistical publications, financial reports, circulars, and other regulatory material more conveniently.

The upgrade is part of the central bank’s broader digital transformation strategy aimed at improving transparency, accessibility, and public engagement.

The website has also been optimized for desktops, tablets, and smartphones, allowing users to enjoy a consistent browsing experience across different devices.

The latest upgrade supports the SBP’s ongoing efforts to modernize Pakistan’s financial system through digital innovation. It follows recent initiatives focused on expanding digital payments, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving online banking services.

With the launch of the new website, the State Bank aims to provide quicker, more reliable, and user-friendly access to the information and services used by Pakistan’s financial sector and the wider public.
