Petrol prices in Pakistan may drop by up to Rs1.75 per litre, while diesel prices are expected to either remain unchanged or rise slightly.

The possible adjustment is linked to changes in global oil prices and other factors considered when setting domestic fuel rates.

The government is expected to review the latest pricing data before making a final decision.

If approved, the reduction in petrol prices could offer some relief to consumers. However, diesel users may not see much difference in their fuel costs.

The final petrol and diesel prices will be announced by the government after the review is completed.
