The government has announced the launch of the second phase of the laptop distribution scheme for students.
The Higher Education Department stated that merit-based laptops will be handed out from next month, with the formal schedule already finalized.
The Punjab Chief Minister is likely to begin the distribution ceremony in the first or second week of September.
During the first phase, 14,000 laptops were given to students in Lahore. The upcoming phase will extend the programme to benefit more eligible students across the province.
