Prices of gold and silver saw a notable rise in both the international market and Pakistan’s local bullion market, showing continued fluctuations in precious metals, according to the report on Wednesday.
According to market figures, the price of one tola of gold jumped by Rs15,200, taking it to Rs479,262. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold went up by Rs13,031 and reached Rs410,889.
In the global market, gold prices also moved upward, increasing by $152 to stand at $4,565 per ounce. This rise points to strong demand worldwide as investors continue to turn towards safe-haven assets.

Silver prices also increased in line with gold. In the local market, the price of one tola of silver went up by Rs370, reaching Rs7,824.
Market experts believe that the upward trend is linked to ongoing economic uncertainty across the world, along with growing demand for precious metals as protection against inflation and currency changes.
