The PhD entrance test will be held at the University of Karachi on Sunday, December 28, according to a report on Wednesday.
The announcement was made by the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences at the University of Karachi. The examination will take place from 10 am to 12 noon at the LEJ Information Center.
Candidates who successfully clear both the written test and the interview will be admitted to the Dr Panjwani Center and the HEJ Institute.
This test marks the second phase of PhD admissions for the year 2025, and a large number of candidates are expected to appear.
Applicants have been instructed to arrive at the examination venue by 9:30 am and to bring their admit card along with their original national identity card. Entry of unauthorized individuals into the examination center will not be allowed.
The results will be announced on the websites of ICCBS and the University of Karachi on January 5, 2026. Admissions will be granted strictly on merit in line with the higher education policy of the University of Karachi.
Candidates who qualify will then appear for interviews scheduled from January 6 to January 9, 2026. The final merit list will be displayed on January 16, 2026.
