The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has granted a 10-day extension in the electricity bill payment deadline for nearly 53,000 tube well users.

This decision comes as a relief for the farming community, which often faces financial pressures during crop cycles due to limited cash availability.

No Late Charges During Grace Period

As per the directive, tube well consumers can pay their electricity bills within the extended period without having to pay any late fees.

FESCO has already updated its billing system to reflect the new due dates, and consumers can view their revised bills through the company’s online portal.

Similar Relief Offered in the Past

This is not the first instance of such support. In May 2025, FESCO provided the same 10-day extension to assist tube well owners during a critical phase of crop cultivation.

Company officials explained that the move is part of a broader effort to ease the financial burden on farmers during the busy agricultural season. The goal is to prevent power disconnections and ensure uninterrupted irrigation operations.

FESCO has urged all eligible consumers to take note of the updated bill deadlines and make timely payments by checking their revised bills online.
