Due to the rush of vehicles during Eid, motorway police have introduced a special plan to manage traffic flow more effectively. They have warned that strict action will be taken against anyone who breaks lane rules on any motorway.

Officials said that legal action will be taken against drivers who fail to follow lane discipline.

According to the new instructions, cars and LTVs must drive in the middle lane. The extreme right, or third lane, is reserved only for small vehicles when overtaking.

The motorway police also clarified that passenger buses and heavy vehicles must remain in the extreme left lane. They are not permitted to use the third lane under any circumstances. Drivers who repeatedly ignore these rules will face heavy fines along with further legal action.
