Peshawar to remain dry as light rain expected in northern KP

PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast partly cloudy weather with occasional light rain in the upper districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday and Tuesday, while most other areas, including Peshawar, will remain dry and mild.

According to the PMD, a weak westerly system is expected to affect the northern regions, bringing slight rainfall to areas such as Chitral, Dir, Kohistan, and upper Swat. The rest of the province will experience dry weather, with cooler mornings and nights in hilly regions.

Peshawar’s temperature is likely to stay between 31°C and 33°C on Monday and Tuesday, and 30°C to 32°C on Wednesday.

During the past 24 hours, dry weather persisted across the province, with Dera Ismail Khan recorded as the hottest spot at 34°C, followed by Bannu at 32°C and Peshawar at 30°C, with 51% humidity in the evening.
