KARACHI: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced a major recruitment drive to hire 200 Junior Executives (Data Entry Operators) across different districts of Karachi and interior Sindh as part of efforts to expand its network and improve service delivery.

According to official information, the hiring campaign will cover five districts in Karachi and nine in interior Sindh, with walk-in interviews set to begin on November 3, 2025.

To support the expansion, NADRA also plans to acquire land in several districts for new regional offices. The proposed locations include Mirpurkhas, Mirpur Sakro, Kotri, Matiari, Chachro, Jhuddo, Mirpur Tharro, Tando Allahyar, Jamshoro, Thatta, and Sujawal.

Applicants must have at least an Intermediate qualification, and the maximum age limit for the position is 25 years.

Officials said the initiative is aimed at improving NADRA’s accessibility and service efficiency in semi-urban and rural regions, providing quicker registration services while creating employment opportunities for local youth.

Earlier, NADRA, in coordination with provincial governments, introduced a new digital system for registering births and deaths in hospitals and healthcare facilities nationwide. The system is designed to make the process faster, more transparent, and better integrated with national records.

Following directives from Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, NADRA has been working to modernize the national registration system under the National Biometric and Registration Policy Framework, which was approved by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on January 1, 2025.
