IESCO issues electricity supply schedule for Eid

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has shared its plan to ensure a steady electricity supply during Eid ul-Fitr, aiming to provide relief to consumers throughout the holidays.

IESCO Chief Executive Officer Engineer Chaudhry Khalid Mahmood stated that all arrangements have been completed to maintain a smooth and uninterrupted power supply so people can celebrate Eid without any difficulty.

He mentioned that the company had already managed to deliver uninterrupted electricity throughout Ramadan, particularly during Sehr and Iftar hours. He said this achievement shows IESCO’s dedication to serving its consumers effectively.

The CEO also acknowledged the hard work of the staff and officers, highlighting that they performed their duties with commitment even while fasting.

“Due to their dedication, consumers were able to perform their prayers and daily activities without disruption,” he said.

To manage operations efficiently during Eid, special monitoring rooms have been set up, while complaint centers will stay open around the clock.

The statement also noted that Chief Engineer Distribution Zahid Saleem Usmani has been assigned as the focal person to oversee all electricity supply matters during the Eid holidays.
