The Punjab Forest Department has announced 979 job openings for men and women across the province for 2026. The vacancies include posts for Inspector Forests BS 11 and Forest Rangers BS 09. The recruitment aims to strengthen forest protection and support environmental conservation efforts in Punjab.
There are 85 positions available for Inspector Forests. Applicants must hold a graduation degree with 14 years of education. Male candidates should be between 20 and 30 years of age and at least 5 feet 6 inches tall. Female applicants must be between 20 and 33 years old with a minimum height of 5 feet 2 inches.
For the post of Forest Ranger, 894 vacancies have been announced for candidates with an intermediate education of 12 years. The age limit for males is 18 to 30 years and for females 18 to 33 years. The minimum height requirement is the same as for the Inspector position.
Candidates are also required to send hard copies of their applications along with verified documents to the relevant Forest Division office.
The last date to apply is 4 March 2026. Interested individuals are advised to complete the process without delay. The selection process will include physical tests, verification of documents and interviews to ensure that only eligible candidates are selected.
