Gold prices surge again in Pakistan, silver reaches all-time high

Gold prices in Pakistan rebounded on Monday, tracking a rise in the global market, while silver touched a new record high in local trading.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of gold jumped by Rs7,500 per tola, reaching Rs489,362. The rate for 10 grams of gold also moved up by Rs428, settling at Rs419,549.

Earlier on Saturday, gold had closed at Rs481,862 per tola after shedding Rs6,431 during the session.

Internationally, gold showed strength as well, climbing by $75 to trade at $4,670 per ounce, including a $20 premium.

Silver continued its upward momentum in Pakistan, with the per tola price rising by Rs300 to hit an all-time high of Rs9,782.
