KARACHI: Singer Hasan, known for his hit song Joona, has officially tied the knot and shared his Nikkah pictures on Instagram with the caption, “Teri chaiye ni raaye (I don’t want your opinion).”
The bride is said to be his cousin, and the wedding took place last week in a traditional Gilgiti ceremony.
For days, Hasan’s wedding photos and videos had been making the rounds on social media. He was seen dancing joyfully to Gilgiti songs with his friends, with fans commenting, “I’ve never seen a happier groom.”
On the big day, the groom wore an off-white shalwar kameez paired with a shuqa overcoat, a traditional feathered Gilgiti cap called parxin, and an embroidered shawl.
The bride wore a light blue gown with golden jewelry and styled hair. Later, pictures from the Valima surfaced, showing Hasan in a formal suit while his bride looked radiant in red.
Several celebrities joined the celebrations, including Osman Khalid Butt, Shehzad Roy, Momina Mustehsan, Uzair Jaswal, Umair, Taha G, and Ameer Gilani.
Initially, some fans were doubtful about the authenticity of the videos since Hasan had previously pranked them with staged wedding pictures that turned out to be a teaser for his track MEMORIES from the album DKP.
This time, however, he confirmed it was genuine, captioning his post, “Real hai (it’s real).”
