Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has launched a new project in Karachi aimed at developing the city into a regional centre for finance, investment, and fintech.

He identified three potential locations in Karachi where the Sindh Investment Facilitation Centre (SIFC) will be developed in the coming years.

The provincial government said the project is part of its plan to establish Karachi as a leading destination for global investment and Islamic finance.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister also highlighted the growing potential of technology, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing, saying these sectors can attract new investment to the city.

The government believes the initiative will help bring more foreign investment to Sindh while strengthening the province’s financial infrastructure and making it easier for businesses to operate.

Officials also said the project is expected to create employment opportunities for skilled professionals, encourage innovation in the digital economy, and further strengthen Karachi’s position as a regional financial hub.
