After short fall, gold prices surge again in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan increased sharply again today, reaching a new record in line with gains in the global market.

The price of one tola of gold went up by Rs1,400 and reached Rs504,862. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,200 to Rs432,837.

In the international market, gold increased by $14 per ounce to $4,825. Silver prices also saw an increase, with one tola rising by Rs110 to Rs8,514.

A day earlier, the global bullion market had also shown an upward trend, with gold rising by $35 per ounce to $4,811. Following that, local prices increased as well, with gold going up by Rs3,500 per tola to Rs503,462, while 10 grams rose by Rs3,001 to Rs431,637.
