Gold prices in Pakistan moved higher on Wednesday in line with gains in the international market.
The price of gold per tola went up by Rs1,300, reaching Rs516,062. Meanwhile, the rate for 10 grams increased by Rs1,114 to stand at Rs442,439, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.
In the global market, gold prices rose by $13 to $4,933 per ounce, which includes a $20 premium.
Silver also recorded an upward trend. The per tola price increased by Rs32 to Rs8,046, showing continued strength in the precious metals market.
The increase in gold and silver rates comes as international markets remain volatile, prompting investors and traders in Pakistan’s bullion market to closely monitor short-term movements.
