Islamabad announces 52 teaching vacancies for 13 subjects

The Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training (Daanish Wing), Government of Pakistan, has announced new teaching jobs for 13 different subjects at Daanish School Kuri in Islamabad.

According to the advertisement, a total of 52 vacancies have been opened for male and female teachers. Out of these, 26 seats are reserved for male candidates while 26 are allocated for female candidates. Recruitment will be carried out equally in all subjects.

The vacancies include Mathematics, English, Urdu, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Islamiyat, Social Studies, General Science, Computer Science, Fine Arts, Geography, and Montessori/General Teacher positions. Each subject has four vacancies, including two for male and two for female teachers.

The jobs are being offered under the DS-16 pay scale, which is equal to BPS-16, along with an additional basic pay allowance.

Applicants must have at least 16 years of education with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the relevant subject. Candidates are also required to have at least a second division or a minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4 or 3.50 out of 5.

The upper age limit for applicants is 50 years. Preference will be given to candidates holding M.Ed or B.Ed qualifications.

The hiring process will be conducted through the Open Testing Service (OTS). Interested candidates must apply online, generate the deposit slip and complete the application process within 15 days of the publication of the advertisement.

The ministry has clarified that manual or hard-copy applications will not be accepted.
