Authorities in Islamabad have issued a key traffic advisory about road closures and diversions across the city. The notice alerts commuters that several main roads will face temporary restrictions throughout April 2026 to accommodate planned movements and security duties.

According to the update, traffic will be controlled on April 16, 2026, from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Emergency and essential services will continue to move without interruption, while regular commuters will be directed to use alternate routes where needed. Residents are advised to stay updated through official sources so they can plan their travel and avoid unnecessary delays during these restricted hours.
