The Punjab Emergency Services Department, commonly known as Rescue 1122, has announced 239 vacancies for candidates with different educational qualifications and professional skills.
According to the recruitment advertisement, the department is hiring medical officers, emergency medical technicians, fire rescuers, drivers and administrative staff for its headquarters, Emergency Services Academy and District Lahore.
The available positions include 108 Rescue Drivers, 92 Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and 28 Fire DERT Rescuers, along with vacancies for medical and administrative staff.

Eligibility Criteria for Rescue 1122 Jobs
Applicants must meet the educational and professional requirements specified for their chosen positions.
Candidates applying for the Emergency Officer (Medical) post must have an MBBS degree and valid registration with the relevant medical regulatory authority.
For Emergency Medical Technician positions, applicants must hold a nursing or paramedical degree or diploma with at least second division from a recognised institution.
Candidates interested in the Fire DERT Rescuer post must have a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) with at least second division in an eligible field. These include Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Electronics, Mining, Telecommunication and Architecture.
Applicants for Rescue Driver positions must have passed matriculation with at least second division and hold a valid Light Transport Vehicle (LTV) driving licence.
Female candidates applying for Hostel Warden and Assistant Hostel Warden positions must possess a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification representing 14 years of education in Social Sciences, Psychology or Management. Applicants for the Hostel Warden post must also have at least two years of relevant experience.
For the Female Attendant position, candidates must have a matriculation certificate and a housekeeping certificate. Relevant work experience will be an advantage.
Rescue 1122 Recruitment and Selection Process
The recruitment process will include written examinations, psychological assessments, physical tests and relevant skill tests. Candidates who qualify at each stage will be considered for the next phase of selection.
Lists of successful candidates will be published on the official CTS and Rescue 1122 websites. Final interviews will be held at Emergency Services Headquarters in Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore.
Applicants must meet the required medical and physical fitness standards. Final selection will be subject to document verification, medical clearance, police verification and successful completion of the required training.
According to the advertisement, 5% of the vacancies are reserved for minority candidates and 15% for women. Preference will also be given to residents based on the address recorded on their Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs).
