Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Qambar Shehdadkot has fined 259 police officers and personnel for being absent from duty without authorization, as per the report on Wednesday.
As per details, SSP Qambar took “Point me” notice of the absences and directed that penalties be imposed on the delinquent officers.
Those fined include four inspectors, nine sub-inspectors, twenty-two ASIs, twenty head constables, fourteen lady inspectors, one hundred eighty-six constables, two junior clerks, and one langari.
The fines range from Rs1,000 to Rs10,000. SSP Qambar warned that any officer failing to mark attendance on “Point me” will be treated as absent and face strict disciplinary action.
