Gold rates increase by Rs3,500 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Wednesday, even though international rates saw a slight decline.

According to data from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of 24 karat gold rose by Rs3,500 per tola to reach Rs503,462. The price of 24 karat gold per 10 grams also increased by Rs3,001 to Rs431,637. Meanwhile, 22 karat gold was recorded at Rs395,681 per 10 grams.

Silver prices also moved higher in the local market. The rate of 24 karat silver went up by Rs144 per tola to Rs8,404, while the price per 10 grams increased by Rs124 to Rs7,205.

Recent figures show that gold was priced at Rs499,962 per tola on April 14, 2026, which means an increase of Rs3,500 in a day. Over the past month, however, gold has dropped by Rs19,300 per tola. Since the start of the fiscal year, it has gained Rs153,262, while the calendar year increase stands at Rs46,500.

Silver also rose from Rs8,260 per tola in the previous session, showing a daily gain of Rs144. Over the month it is slightly down by Rs37, but it has increased by Rs4,622 during the fiscal year and Rs686 so far this year.

In global markets, gold prices slipped to around 4,809 dollars per ounce, down 27.9 dollars or 0.58 percent from the previous session. The decline came as market sentiment improved on hopes that diplomatic efforts could ease tensions in the Middle East.
