The Punjab government has extended the application deadline for students under the Chief Minister of Punjab Laptop Program.
According to an official update, students can now submit their applications through the program’s online portal until February 28, 2026.
The scheme, recently expanded to include students from private universities, allows eligible candidates to apply based on their academic performance. Under the criteria announced last month, students enrolled in private universities who have achieved at least 65 percent marks can also apply for a free laptop.
The provincial government said the initiative is designed to improve access to digital tools for higher education students across Punjab. Officials have urged applicants to complete their registration before the new deadline to avoid any inconvenience.
