Gold prices in Pakistan fell sharply on Friday, with 24-karat gold dropping by Rs3,300 to Rs439,762 per tola, down from Rs443,062 a day earlier, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold also went down by Rs2,829 to Rs377,025, while 22-karat gold slipped by Rs2,594 to Rs345,618.

In the global market, gold lost $33, settling at $4,174 compared to $4,207 previously.

Silver followed the same trend, with the per tola price of 24-karat silver decreasing by Rs140 to Rs5,522, and the 10-gram rate falling by Rs120 to Rs4,734. International silver prices also dipped by $1.40 to $52.60 from $54.
