RAWALPINDI: An anti-terrorism court on Tuesday issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Aleema Khan, the sister of former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, in connection with the November 26 protest case, directing police to arrest and present her in court tomorrow, according to the report.
Aleema was scheduled to be indicted in the case, but failed to appear before the court. Judge Amjad Ali Shah rejected her request for exemption from attendance and subsequently issued her arrest warrants.
The case against her was registered at the Sadiqabad police station in Rawalpindi.
