Petrol prices expected to fall in Pakistan, diesel hike proposed

A proposal has been made to revise the prices of petroleum products, with a decrease of Rs1.96 per liter in petrol, according to the report on Thursday.

According to sources, if approved, the price of one liter of petrol will drop from Rs265.45 to Rs263.49.

Conversely, the price of one liter of high-speed diesel is proposed to rise by Rs9.60, increasing from Rs278.44 to Rs288.04 after approval.

Additionally, the price of kerosene is expected to go up by Rs8.82 per liter, while light diesel will see an increase of Rs7.15 per liter.

The new prices, once approved, will take effect from November 16.
