Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited has reduced gas supply to only six hours a day as shortages continue due to tensions in the Middle East.
According to SNGPL, gas will now be available only during breakfast and dinner timings, while supply will remain suspended during the afternoon hours.
Officials said the shortage has worsened to a level where supplying gas three times a day is no longer possible. Under the current situation, they added, even maintaining supply during breakfast and dinner hours is becoming difficult.

Interruptions in liquefied natural gas imports have led to a serious shortage. The ongoing situation has affected the system’s ability to maintain steady pressure. Because of this, SNGPL has limited supply hours to manage demand during peak usage times, officials stated.
