Islamabad reports 26 new dengue cases in 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, Islamabad reported 26 new dengue cases as authorities continued efforts to curb the virus across the capital.

According to the district administration, 14 cases emerged from rural areas and 12 from urban sectors, with 17 patients currently receiving treatment in hospitals.

Anti-dengue teams inspected over 21,000 sites across the city, carrying out spraying in 361 houses and fogging operations at 270 locations.

Officials said that targeted drives are underway in all union councils and warned that strict action will be taken against anyone found violating dengue prevention guidelines.
