Gold prices continue downward trend in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan continued to decline on Wednesday, following losses in the international market.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the local price of gold per tola fell by Rs 1,200, settling at Rs 440,662. The rate for 10 grams of gold also dropped by Rs 1,029, now standing at Rs 377,796.

Gold prices had already fallen on Tuesday, with the per tola rate decreasing by Rs 1,900 to Rs 441,862.

On the global market, gold slipped by $12 to $4,207 per ounce, including a $20 premium. Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan rose by Rs 265, reaching Rs 6,367 per tola.
