Gold price rises by Rs3,200 per tola in Pakistan

The price of 24 karat gold saw an increase of Rs3,200 per tola on Thursday, reaching Rs354,700 compared to Rs351,500 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

Similarly, the cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold rose by Rs2,744, now standing at Rs304,098, up from Rs301,354. For 10 grams of 22 karat gold, the rate went up by Rs2,515 to Rs278,766 from the earlier Rs276,251.

Silver prices also moved upward, with a Rs10 increase per tola to Rs3,851, and a Rs8 rise in the 10-gram rate to Rs3,301.

In the international market, gold gained $32 to trade at $3,324, while silver edged up by $0.1, now priced at $36.67, the Association added.
