The price of per-tola 24-karat gold on Monday rose by Rs1,600 to Rs443,762, up from Rs442,162 the previous day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,372 to Rs380,454 from Rs379,082, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold went up by Rs1,258 to Rs348,762.
In the international market, gold gained $16, reaching $4,214 per ounce.
Meanwhile, the price of per-tola silver increased by Rs30 to Rs6,102, and 10 grams of silver rose by Rs26 to Rs5,231. Internationally, silver prices went up by $0.30 to $58.30 per ounce.
