The Vehari district administration has declared a public holiday on July 11 to mark the annual Urs of Baba Diwan Haji Sher.
Deputy Commissioner Khalid Javed said the three-day Urs celebrations will begin on July 9, with the official holiday falling on the final day of the event.
According to an official notification, examinations conducted by educational boards and universities will be held as planned and will not be affected by the public holiday.

The administration also confirmed that essential services, including healthcare, security, and administrative departments, will remain fully operational and continue carrying out their responsibilities throughout the holiday.
