KARACHI: Astronomers in Pakistan will be treated to a rare lunar eclipse, known as the “Blood Moon,” which will be visible across the country on the night of September 7–8, provided the skies remain clear.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the dimming of the moon will begin at 8:28pm on September 7. The partial eclipse will start at 9:27pm, followed by the total eclipse at 10:31pm.
The phenomenon will reach its peak at 11:12pm, with the total phase ending at 11:53pm. The partial eclipse will wrap up at 12:57am, while the entire celestial event will conclude by 1:55am on September 8, the PMD confirmed.
