The Senate was told that Pakistan has exported 434 locally assembled vehicles in the last three years, bringing in Rs1.41 billion in export earnings.

In a written reply, the finance minister shared that Pakistan sent out 100 vehicles in the 2022–23 fiscal year, 107 in 2023–24, and 227 in 2024–25, showing a clear rise in exports each year.

He added that these vehicles were shipped to twenty countries, which points to a growing interest in Pakistan-made models in certain foreign markets.

Lawmakers were informed that although the overall export numbers are still small, the steady increase suggests room for Pakistan further to build its automotive export potential in the future.
