Pakistan Railways increases ticket prices for Lahore–Rawalpindi route

Pakistan Railways has announced an increase in fares for train services between Lahore and Rawalpindi, which takes effect immediately.

A spokesperson for the department said the revised fares apply to the Subak Kharam and Subak Raftar railcars, with prices rising by Rs150 to Rs250.

The spokesperson added that passengers will now receive refreshments as part of the fare adjustment.

Under the new rates, the fare for AC Parlor is Rs2,500, AC Business Rs2,250, AC Standard Rs2,100, and Economy Class Rs1,300.
