The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced that the written result of the CSS Competitive Examination 2026 is expected to be released in the first week of September 2026.
In a public notice, the commission said the result of the written examination is likely to be announced during the opening week of next month.
FPSC has advised candidates to keep checking its official website for the latest information about the result and the next stages of the recruitment process.
The CSS examination is one of Pakistan’s most competitive recruitment tests and is the main route for appointments to the country’s top civil services. These include the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), Police Service of Pakistan (PSP), Foreign Service of Pakistan (FSP), along with other occupational groups.

Candidates who pass the written examination will move on to the remaining stages of the selection process, including the psychological assessment, medical examination, and final interview before the allocation of services.
FPSC added that any further updates related to the CSS Competitive Examination 2026 will be shared on its official website.
