Gold prices in Pakistan held steady on Thursday after reaching record highs a day earlier.

The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported that gold per tola remained at Rs376,700 in the local market, while the price of 10 grams stayed unchanged at Rs322,959.

Internationally, gold was also stable at $3,540 per ounce, including a $20 premium.

Silver prices showed no movement either, with the rate fixed at Rs4,315 per tola.

Analysts noted that the stability follows a spell of sharp volatility, suggesting the market has entered a brief pause as investors weigh global economic conditions and currency trends.
