Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a decline on Wednesday following a fall in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs10,000 and reached Rs539,962.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs8,573 to settle at Rs462,930. On Tuesday, the per tola price had climbed to Rs549,962 after falling by Rs13,900 earlier in the day.
The global gold rate also saw a decrease of $100, bringing the price to $5,172 per ounce, while the premium remained at $20.
On the other hand, silver prices showed a slight increase, rising by Rs100 to reach Rs9,004 per tola.
