Flyadeal, Saudi Arabia’s low-cost airline, has officially launched its flight operations to Lahore, expanding its presence in Pakistan.

With the addition of Lahore, the airline now operates 18 scheduled flights each week between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, covering five major cities: Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Sialkot, and now Lahore, all of which were introduced this year.

Flyadeal first entered the Pakistani market in February 2025, when its inaugural flight landed at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport and was welcomed with a traditional water salute, according to the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA).

The airline currently operates two weekly flights to Karachi from Riyadh and Jeddah, offering passengers greater travel convenience.

Aviation Security spokesperson Shahid Qadir said Flyadeal’s operations in Pakistan would provide travelers with an additional direct air travel option and help generate employment opportunities.

Other Saudi carriers, including Saudi Arabian Airlines and Flynas, are already serving routes between the two countries.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has granted Flyadeal formal approval to operate flights to and from Pakistan.
