Gold prices decrease again in Pakistan after brief rise

Gold prices in Pakistan slipped slightly once again, recording their second decline in the past four days after a small increase seen on Thursday.

In the international bullion market, gold dropped by $2 per ounce, bringing the price to $4,614 per ounce. This dip was also seen locally, where the rate per tola decreased by Rs200 and settled at Rs483,762.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold went down by Rs172, reaching Rs414,747. A day earlier on Thursday, gold was being sold at Rs483,962 per tola, while on Wednesday it was lower at Rs479,562 per tola.

Meanwhile, silver moved in the opposite direction, rising by Rs193 to close at Rs8,014.
