Punjab has expanded its electric transport network with the launch of a new Electro bus service in Rajanpur City.

The Punjab Transport Company introduced the service to offer residents affordable and eco-friendly travel options.

The air-conditioned buses charge a flat fare of Rs20 and come with free Wi-Fi, mobile charging ports, and wheelchair access to make travel more comfortable and accessible.

The Electro buses run on a loop route connecting major points in the city, including Grid Chowk, Govt College Rajanpur, Chowk Allahabad, Circuit House, DC Office, Katchery Chowk, GPO, Fatehpur Adda, and Mansoorabad Colony.

Officials said the service will help ease traffic congestion and reduce pollution. They added that the project is designed to provide safe, reliable, and modern transport for daily commuters.

Authorities have urged residents to use the Electro buses for cleaner and low-cost city travel.
