RAWALPINDI: Security forces have carried out major operations in Balochistan, killing 13 terrorists linked to Indian-backed groups “Fitna al Khawarij” and “Fitna al Hindustan,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Wednesday.
According to ISPR, on September 30 and October 1, two separate intelligence-based operations were conducted in Quetta and Kech districts.
In Quetta, troops launched an operation based on information about the presence of militants from Fitna al Khawarij. After a heavy exchange of fire, 10 terrorists were killed.
In Kech, another operation targeted a hideout, where three terrorists belonging to Fitna al Hindustan were eliminated.
Weapons, explosives, and ammunition were seized from the slain militants, who, according to ISPR, had been involved in various terrorist activities. The military reaffirmed its determination to root out Indian-backed terrorism and bring all facilitators to justice.
Earlier the same day, ISPR also reported another successful intelligence-based operation in Khuzdar.
“On 1 October 2025, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Khuzdar District of Balochistan, on the reported presence of terrorists belonging to an Indian proxy, Fitna al Hindustan.
During the conduct of the operation, own forces apprehended four Ts trying to flee cowardly by disguising themselves in women’s attire.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.
Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of Indian sponsored terrorism from the country, and reaffirm the nation’s unwavering resolve to bring the perpetrators of terrorism to justice.”
