Dry conditions along with cool nights are set to persist across the Karachi division for the next three days, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said.

In its weather outlook issued on Sunday, the department stated that minimum temperatures are expected to stay between 12 and 15 degrees Celsius. Daytime temperatures are likely to gradually climb, ranging from 26 to 28 degrees Celsius on Sunday and reaching up to 30 degrees Celsius by Tuesday.

The forecast suggests that nights will remain cool, while warmer conditions are expected during the day as temperatures slowly rise.

Humidity levels in the morning are expected to drop from about 83 per cent on Sunday to between 55 and 65 per cent by Tuesday. Evening humidity may fall further, reaching as low as 20 per cent.

Winds are likely to blow mainly from the east and north-east, though brief changes to west or south-westerly directions may occur at times.

The PMD said there is no chance of rain during this period and dry weather is expected to prevail across most parts of the province.

Elsewhere in the country, the department said cold and dry weather is likely in most regions on Sunday, with very cold conditions continuing in the mountainous areas.

Partly cloudy to overcast skies are expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and northern Balochistan, where light rain and snowfall may occur in isolated areas.

Islamabad is expected to experience cold weather with partly cloudy skies, while most districts of Punjab are likely to remain cold and dry.

Most areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are also forecast to stay cold and dry, with very cold and partly cloudy conditions in the hilly regions. Light rain and snowfall may occur at a few places, including Chitral, Dir, Kohistan, Kalam, Swat, Kurram and Waziristan.

In Sindh, cold and dry weather is expected in most districts. Balochistan is likely to see cold conditions with partly cloudy skies across much of the province.

Kashmir is forecast to remain very cold and overcast, with the possibility of rain and snowfall, while Gilgit-Baltistan is expected to experience very cold and cloudy weather with light rain and snowfall at a few locations.
