Imran Abbas, the famous Pakistani actor known for his hit dramas like “Khuda Aur Mohabbat” and “Dil-e-Muzter,” made his mark in Bollywood.
Recently starred in the Punjabi film “Jee Ve Sohneya Jee.”
Reflecting on his career, Imran addressed the misconceptions about his work in India and the backlash he received from sharing his experiences.
The actor revealed he was offered notable Bollywood projects, including “Aashiqui 2”, “PK”, and “Heeramandi”.
While some initially doubted his claims, they were later proven true, he stressed that it is not unusual from him to receive such offers as he has always been involved in important projects around the world.
Imran also commented on the criticism Pakistani actors face for working in Bollywood, with some accusing them of having a “complex.”
He explained that his desire to work in Bollywood comes from the position that it is a bigger industry and offers greater opportunities for learning and collaboration.
According to Imran, such a partnership can improve the quality of Pakistan’s work and should be considered a positive step for the entertainment industry.
